Clint Eastwood vs. TED
Out of all of the videos that we have watched in class my personal favorite is the Clint Eastwood speech. My least favorite was the TED video. I really enjoyed the Clint Eastwood video because it was funny and real. Clint used his humor and great public speaking skills to put on a great speech. He got on a personal level and really connected to the audience. The main fallback, however, was that his speech was somewhat insulting to others and people may take it the wrong way. The intended audience was pro-Romney people at the Republican convention. The TED speech was my least favorite. I may be a bit biased because I do not agree with anything he said. I think David offended a very large portion of the population. His purpose of his speech was very controversial and the intended audience was for a group of scientist. David did, however, have a very good way in which he delivered his speech and it was very professional. Both speeches has their positive and negative points but overall they were two good pieces of work.
