When I looked over my partner’s 5 truths several of them
were things that weren’t disputable but one truth on the list caught my eye.
Her truth was that chicken is yummy. While I believe whole-heartedly in this
truth, it can be argued. Many people in the world are actually vegetarians,
they may have grown up in a home where meat was not part of the menu, they
decided to take meat out of their diet or they simply don’t like meat. Being a
vegetarian means that these people don’t know the amazingly good taste of
chicken or the fact that it is yummy. Some people may grow up being told that
chicken is not good so that is the fact they stick with. In fact some of the
people that don’t eat meat or say they don’t like it may in fact like it and
think it would be yummy were it not for the fact that they grew up without it,
have been told it is bad or made the choice to not eat it.
