truth and social construction

One of my partner’s five truths was she doesn’t run as much as she should. This can be proven false by comparing how much she runs to how much some other people run. She runs twice a week for about 30 minutes. Compared to me, who runs zero times a week for zero minutes, she runs quite often. However, she may feel that she doesn’t run as much as she should because she has compared her running to some of her other peers who may run more than twice a week or longer than 30 minutes, or she may have compared her running to health facts and statistics that states that she should run more than twice a week. Her view of how much she should run to be healthy has been socially constructed by her social network and society who tells her that she should run (or exercise) more than twice a week for thirty or more minutes to maintain her health.
